My Gear

 Lens Collection

The lens is what shapes the light before it hits the sensor. My kit is a mix of character-heavy primes and sharp, versatile zooms:

For the Pentax (K-Mount)

  • Pentax SMC 35mm f/2.4 Prime: My primary lens for the streets. Lightweight and offers a very natural perspective.
  • Pentax 50mm f/2.0 Manual Prime: For when I want to slow down and feel the focus. There’s something special about manual glass.
  • Tokina 135mm f/2.8 Manual Prime: A sharp classic that pulls distant details right into the frame.

For the Canon (EF-S)

  • Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8: My reliable workhorse. Constant aperture and great for almost any situation.
  • Tokina 12-28mm f/4.0: My go-to wide angle for capturing cityscapes and architecture.
  • Tokina 50-135mm f/2.8: Essential for tight street shots and portraits; the depth of field at f/2.8 is superb.

A Final Note: Gear is just a tool. These lenses and bodies are simply the pens I use to write my "notes" from the world.
